Flash Back in New York EdP 50 ml
New York, New York.
A fantastic city, filled with cinematic stories and famous melodies, powerful imagery and catchy tunes — this is the place Olfactive Studio chose to settle in. The perfect place for the nostalgia evoked by this fragrance. Flash Back in New York is the second perfume after Still Life in Rio in which a city and its architecture are selected as the starting point, posing long enough to inspire the creation of a scent. This approach is a testament to passion.
To capture the essence of New York through perfume, one must be at least madly in love with this city and have many cherished memories of it. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette, working with Olfactive Studio for the first time, lives and works in this city. Photographer Vivienne Gucwa, whose photo graces the bottle, always manages to capture something elusive that belongs only to New York — something found between the brownstone mansions and the skyscrapers, the soul that is uniquely New York.
It lies in the footprints on a snowy avenue bathed in warm night light, in the glowing Chrysler Building visible from afar — the place where Flash Back in New York found its compass.
The composition of the fragrance pays homage to this city that never stops, not even in the heaviest snowstorm. New York is like fire under ice, and the fragrance had to match its extraordinariness and breathtaking possibilities. New York combines emotion and amplifies it with a passion for indulgence and a sense of boldness.
Flash Back in New York is a precise depiction, rich with vivid notes that give it a unique presence that lingers in memory. A fragrance of contrasts for a land that lives in perpetual contradictions, it must be experienced without forethought, without excuses.
Dizzying.
