Flash Back in New York is the second perfume after Still Life in Rio in which a city and its architecture are selected as the starting point, posing long enough to inspire the creation of a scent. This approach is a testament to passion.

To capture the essence of New York through perfume, one must be at least madly in love with this city and have many cherished memories of it. Perfumer Jérôme Epinette, working with Olfactive Studio for the first time, lives and works in this city. Photographer Vivienne Gucwa, whose photo graces the bottle, always manages to capture something elusive that belongs only to New York — something found between the brownstone mansions and the skyscrapers, the soul that is uniquely New York.

In 2011, the Olfactive Studio brand appeared in Paris, in the creation of which more than 5,600 perfume fans participated. The creator, Céline Verler, opened a group on Facebook to try her luck and create a new perfume project based on the collective intuition of the online community. Olfactive Studio is an introduction to modern artistic photography and perfume art, the relationship between the visual image and the sense of smell. Photography, like fragrance, captures a moment in time and can subsequently awaken it in our memory.
