The "Délire de Voyage" collection has been expanded with a second fragrance, inspired by a tragic event — the fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris on April 15, 2019. However, the intention is not to dwell on that date, but to reveal a deeper Truth to the world.

In this new creation, Filippo Sorcinelli sought to highlight three key elements: the triggering event, the water dripping on the Cathedral's stones, and the Essence that remains.

Notre-Dame is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and visited sacred buildings in the world. Filippo was granted a rare privilege: access to areas closed to the public, where he observed unexpected sights and encountered unique scents.

But what is the true Essence of the Cathedral?

We might instinctively associate it with the powerful aroma of incense. Yet that would be a shallow interpretation. The scent of Notre-Dame is not incense. Today, it is the very "moment of smoke" that tells the story.
It is the water trickling down stone and onto the organ casing.
It is the deep wound in the vaults, now letting in light from the bare sky.
It is the scent of life that continues, of an untouched soul — of radiant beams reflecting from the golden cross.
It is Truth, advancing.

Notre-Dame 15.4.2019 — this true essence — is also a small gesture of support for the ensemble of singers and musicians of the Maîtrise, who safeguard the priceless legacy of the Cathedral's sacred music. Proceeds from the fragrance will be donated to the Musique Sacrée association, currently displaced from its spiritual "home", to support the continuation of its mission.

Exceptional attention has been given to the fragrance's packaging:
the cap is crafted from a solid, charred piece of wood, evoking the tragic moment of the fire. The name of the scent is engraved directly onto the cap. The box opens like four unfolding "wings", hand-drawn and signed by Filippo Sorcinelli himself — adorned with symbols, colors, and stylistic elements referencing the Cathedral: four miniature "paintings" forming a single, authentic, and exclusive work of art.
