This fragrance was created in collaboration with acclaimed British actress Tilda Swinton.
She served as muse to the perfumer, crafting her own "Proustian madeleine" — a scent steeped in memory.
For Tilda, it evokes her beloved home in Scotland.
And for you, it will bring warmth to your heart and transport you to the place you love most.
"I've never liked perfumes in bottles," says Tilda.
"The great Sufi poet Rumi once wrote: 'If you want to know what spirit is, or what the divine fragrance means, lean your head toward it, or toward him or her. Keep your face there. That's it.'
It may be my favorite poem of all time. It restores me — like smoke / rain / gingerbread / a greenhouse — all things that nourish my sense of smell."
This is a poem in scent — about simplicity, about human-sized miracles. About trust. About home.
In Tilda's imagination, there is a lost chapter in Alice in Wonderland.
After the bottle labeled "Drink Me" and the cake marked "Eat Me", wandering, otherworldly Alice — far from everything familiar, perhaps a little homesick — comes upon a modest glass, holding a single stem of ginger suspended in pale golden essence. It offers itself shyly and simply: "This way..." — Tilda Swinton
