The fragrance was created for the Middle Eastern company Lattafa when Abdul Rahim was searching for forms of Dior Sauvage's oud wood. Since the oud note didn't "bloom" as expected, Andreas Wilhelm, perfumer at Perfume.Sucks, used a clever trick — incorporating one of the most popular sweet oriental notes from Deraah, a company based in Saudi Arabia.
Although the perfume composition was not chosen, when the young man tried the scent straight from the bottle, jealousy clearly showed on his face.
