An androgynous and monochromatic leather dried by Atlas and Virginia Cedarwoods. The scent to be seen during Fashion Week.

The leather note in perfumery is quite recent as it refers to the smell of the boots worb by Russian soldiers whose leather was proofed with birch tar. Leather usually has two facets, an animalic one made with castoreum or certain woods such as Atlas Cedarwood; and a smoky one created with pyrogenic essences such as cade, styrax or birch tar. Some synthetic materials such as IBQ or Suederal can amp up its texture, but we used Black Oud instead, known for its naturally... leathery smell.

Ingredients: Alcohol Denat., Parfum (Fragrance), Aqua (Water), Limonene, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Linalool, Geraniol, Citral, Citronellol

"Olibanum" is a Latin term for the precious thousand-year-old resin obtained from the frankincense tree. An entrepreneur with an insatiable curiosity, Gérald Gilan is a versatile and passionate person. After opening several restaurants in Paris in 2000, he launched the Histoires de Parfums brand, which now has about 40 names and is available in 300 points of sale worldwide. While Histoires de Parfums tells stories and makes people dream, with Olibanum Gérald wanted to create fragrances without the storytelling aspect, returning to the simplicity of the raw materials. And it was around olibanum, his favorite raw material, that he structured this new way of thinking. The composition of each fragrance is deliberately simple: olibanum + 1 ingredient.
