Inspiration: La Haine (1995), directed by Mathieu Kassovitz

"A calm yet deeply conflicted fragrance — it leaves a trace on the neck like the bite of a cold, sharp blade.

Buchu sulfur, metallic and bloody notes, and cold aldehydes stir a sense of unease — as if something is about to happen. Burnt rubber and icy cedarwood evoke the scent of concrete, laced with birch tar, leather, and bay leaf oil.

The image of death in a damp, cold basement is built from cedar, dark musk, and moss."
— Mark Buxton

Founded in 2016, The Moth and Rabbit Parfums is a contemporary, experimental perfumery based in Berlin and Paris that uses scent to stimulate our subtle senses and challenge the boundaries of our emotional perception so that we never lose our capacity for wonder and delight. 10 scents, each excitingly unique and different in tone, and each capturing something that seemed absolutely impossible in perfumery. Inspired by films, video installations and other objects, legendary perfumer Mark Buxton creates an exclusive fragrance as his creative response.
